Contrary to the claims of some skeptics, serious ufologists are not opposed to the process of debunking provided it is done objectively. However because debunking efforts in the past have been biased in favor of an anti-ufology agenda, an air of cynicism surrounds this otherwise useful tool. Prime examples of biased UFO debunking are the Robertson Panel evaluation and the Condon Report. One of the most famous UFO debunkers was Phillip J. Klass.
