FTD

Acronym for Foreign Technology Division. ATIC was renamed the FTD on July 1, 1961 and the department continued to operate under that name until October 1, 1991 when it was briefly designated the Foreign Technology Center ( FTC ). On January 1, 1992 The FTC became the Foreign Aerospace Science and Technology Center" ( FASTC ).
